About us

Caucasus Arts promotes both visual and performing artists from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the other independent states in the region. The company also promotes artists from those countries now resident in the UK.

Ketevan Kalandadze, the Managing Director, has an MA in Western European Languages and Literature from Tbilisi State University in Georgia and is an Admissions Officer at City University in London. As well as having worked as an English Language teacher, an interpreter and a translator, she also has experience of teaching Georgian as a Foreign Language. Ketevan hopes that Caucasus Arts will serve as a bridge between the Caucasus and the UK, helping to develop an appreciation of the rich, though relatively untapped, cultural heritage of the land where she was born.

Future plans include the promotion and publication of books on the arts, crafts, and folktales of the Caucasus.
